Zix Corporation (ZIXI) is a cybersecurity email specialist that targets the government, healthcare, education, financial services and insurance industries, offering a variety of services associated primarily with e-mail encryption. Along with e-mail encryption, Zix provides its over 19,000 customers with archiving, data loss prevention, threat protection and bring-your-own-device security.
This week ZIXI reported 3Q earnings that were above analysts expectations and Craig Hallum raised them from a Hold to a Buy. ZIXI crossed the Sept highs at 5.93 and is trading up 12% currently, in an ugly tape. I will be watching this closely in the coming days to see if this stock can make a run to the mid 7 or low 8 range.
